1 Tank 2 Healer Vid -> www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeknpnOdgUU (I like this one.)
The challenging parts of the encounter we'll need to master is the light phase and the maze phase.
The Light Phase will be challenging because most of the raid will need to learn how to properly kite the red beam to reveal adds and not wipe the raid. Plus, having a few good people that can mark locations (as you get like 1 second preview) will be a great help. Also, the raid will need to be divided up into the beams to reduce raid damage. Need about 3 per beam, melee should be in red beam so they can hit red adds when they are located. Tanks should be in yellow beam (healers/range split up).
The Maze phase while fairly easy is also extremely unforgiving for mistakes. Mastering this is going to be key.
This fight is generally a 2 tank fight, however it is 1 tankable with the right tank and a pally (or 2 ). I know both Roy and I suspected this after we learned HoP worked in LFR. The video above helps confirm that.
I think we would be able to take a stab at 1 tanking with Roy as tank. That would allow us to generate more dps and see less light and maze cycles. Healing would be tough around the 5-6 stack point, but then it can be cleared with HoP. The stacks will also generally fall off during the maze phase. Although with 2 pallies we might be able to HoP off the stacks a tiny bit earlier.
However, if 1 tanking doesn't seem doable, then it will become a 2 tank fight, which swaps on 3-5 stacks. With a couple of HoPs thrown in to make it easier overall
A macro for placing a Ground Raid Marker is very useful for marking the spots of adds for the light cycle. How to make this macro can be found here:
